Hi! My name is Lisa Allison, and I am a kindergarten teacher at Bourbon Central Elementary. I am a graduate of Bourbon County High School and the University of Kentucky. I got my master's degree at Georgetown College. I am very excited about the 2019-2020 school year. I have been teaching in Bourbon County for 26 years, and this will be my fourth year of teaching kindergarten. I love it, and I am really excited to get to work with your child!
I live in Nicholas County near Blue Licks State Park with my husband, Nate. I have a daughter, Lori, and two grandchildren. My grandson, Jonathon, is in college, and my granddaughter, Kendall, will be going to middle school this year. They live in Lexington, but since I got married last year my family has grown! I now have two stepchildren and two more grandchildren. Life is full of surprises, and I am enjoying every bit of it!
I love reading, working outdoors, spending time with my family, and working with kids. I am looking forward to a great year getting to know my new kindergarteners!
